Linda’s practical and easy-to-follow approach
is evident in this well-organized cookbook. Linda 'spoon feeds'the reader
with her safe and delicious ideas. "What Else to Eat?"is a cookbook made for busy cooks managing
dairy, egg and nut allergies. Our family has enjoyed so many of these
recipes, and the menu ideas in the back make it a snap to plan dinner
or events. This wonderful collection of delicious, foolproof recipes that can
be prepared with everyday pantry items proves that simplicity is the key
to both "safe" eating and great food. Linda Coss has created another classic cookbook for those managing
milk, egg, and nut allergies. The recipes are uncomplicated and use easy-to-find
ingredients. My family enjoyed all of the recipes we tried, and now has
some new favorites.
Linda has again come up with a fabulous selection of tasty and easy
recipes for family meals, dinner parties, or a tempting treat for afternoon
tea. There is something for everyone. I have "What's to Eat," "What Else is to Eat,"
and "How to Manage".... and absolutely love all 3! They have
helped me immensely in my journey to find peace with my son's severe allergies
to dairy, eggs, and tree nuts. Linda, thank you for giving allergy families another fantastic book.
You've authored another winner! Linda has done an excellent job of assembling recipes that are easy,
delicious, and versatile. Whether you are baking an egg/milk/nut free
cake for your toddler's birthday or catering dinner for adults, you'll
find something to please you in this cookbook. Our child has the same
allergies, and it's wonderful to get new recipes into the mix. Thank you for the most clear-cut cooking guidelines I've seen thus
far for real people seeking normalcy in their diets and daily lives. Return to Top.......... Reviews If you are allergic to dairy, eggs and nuts, Linda Coss
provides answers to your dietary dilemma in this useful addition to your
kitchen bookshelf.
The best part about this book is that there is an emphasis
on fast and easy recipes that use easy-to-find ingredients. This book
truly was designed for our busy lifestyles! I already have a well-worn copy of Linda's first cookbook,
which is perfect for those who need basic food allergy friendly recipes
for things like pancakes, waffles, chocolate chip cookies and plain white
cake. I find Linda's second book ideal for those of us who have the essentials,
but are now hungry for the next level. Believe me, no one will guess that
these recipes are free of dairy, eggs , peanuts and tree nuts. Here's why I like this book: It's chock full of ideas
to help me to freshen up the food allergic family's daily meal routine
so that we're not eating the same 3 or 4 things night after night.
Check it out. I think you'll like it! Are you tired of your same tried and true recipes, and
looking for something new to spice up your life? Linda Coss has published
her second cookbook "What Else is to Eat?" features recipes
for foods that everyone can enjoy, whether they have food allergies or
not. Ms. Coss' new cookbook is just as good, if not better,
than her first one! What I most love about this book is how quick and
simple the recipes are. I'm not a gourmet chef, and I really don't have
the time or inclination to spend a lot of time in the kitchen. Ms. Coss'
recipes are very do-able and healthy to boot! There were also quite a
few slow-cooker recipes, which work well with moms' and kids' busy schedules. When one has allergies, one faces a different sort of
challenge when facing something as common as dinner. "What Else is
to Eat?" is a must for allergic chefs or chefs who cook for allergic
audiences. Recommended. Return to
